Lilac flowers emerging..

My little syringa Josee, starting to bloom at last. Love the lilac mauve coloured flowers.

Pretty is nt it I have one too lol is it highly scented Kate like mine it said dwarf when I bought mine but I had to have it cut right back last year it over powered my pathway but has come back.

I noted although it says dwarf, Dawn, it can grow taller than I thought. It’s in a position where I wouldn’t want it too big, but hey ho, will go with the flow..

You can cut it right back like I had done last year as long as you cut straight after flowering to keep it to the size you want. It will reflower the following year mine has.

😊 I am wondering is it because of not getting cold enough last winter as my Dicentra has nt done well this year.
