What kind of animal is this?

Hi Aleyna - He's a Raccoon, probably the most mischievous creature on the planet. Cheeky for sure - good word Karen. They are very bold and brazen and can be quite viscous if cornered or threatened. They are nocturnal and experts recommend not to approach them. They normally keep in family groups and can take down a dog twice its size. They can be cute cuddly pets but you'd have to raise ti from a baby.

HE LOOKS A PROPER LITTLE CHARACTER PAUL. WHAT DO THEY EAT?

They are opportunistic omnivorous - yes quite a character. They'll take the chickens as well as the eggs.

SO BIT OF A FOXY CHARACTER THEN PAUL. WHEN WE HAD OUR SMALLHOLDING A LONG TIME AGO WE HAD A FOX THAT KILLED OUR CHICKENS ONE NIGHT. WE HAD GOOD SECURE CHICKEN HOUSE AND NETS EVERYWHERE BUT HE STILL MANAGED TO GET THEM.

Those foxes - amazing what they are capable of. They are determined & clever characters. The fencing around the chicken coop needs to go down underground about 3 feet.

LOL they are something to see. I could hear them splashing around from inside the house, when I came outside to look, they were like - "so, what are YOU looking at"?
