It is a fantastic fragrance Kate. I removed mine in the spring because it had got too straggly, but its a beautiful one to grow. The leaves are semi-evergreen too.

Mine has grown and grown, probably taller than I would like. Is it tolerant of a gentle pruning?

Nice to know, Karen. I can understand you having to remove it once it became straggly..I don’t do straggly or woody plants myself.

Very nice & not very often seen here in the UK but when I used to live in Spain I saw lots of them. (or at the very least something that looked very similar to this one)

kate Dd is right the one in our previous garden was more a tree than a shrub very big , What your remembered probably was this David ...
