Clematis Alpina 'Constance' babies coming along nicely. Also have another dozen of these plus three babies of 'Cartmanii Joe'. Interested to see what they grow up to be. Patience is a virtue.

I saved the seed last year Amy and put in pots in the autumn. Early spring, ta da! up they came. I've grown clematis from seed before and have a couple of montanas, plus larger flowered, a white, a lilac colour and a pink. I can't help it, I've just got to grow things or at least give it a try. It keeps me off the streets as they say!

What a treasure trove. I've only grown the large flowered from seed in the past, but there is only so much space on the fences.

Clever you ,well done , I've never tried to grow Clematis from seed , I've succeeded in the past with cuttings .. How long did it take for them to grow ?
