Clematis Alpina 'Constance' has come up for second breath and got half a dozen flower buds.

That is really lovely. Is this the Alpina that gave you all those seedling? My Pink Flamingo has never given me any seed, and I think is suffering from thirst. Do you cut your Alpinas down in Spring?

Thanks and yes Siris, seeds came from this. No I didn't cut down but I might after it finally finishes flowering.
