That's a wonderful view of the greenery and the rose really is set off by it. Is that your border? Lovely.

It is getting quite floriferous and spreading well, up and down and all over, Dd!
I’m not sure, Julia. Think Lori may be right with the ? Floribunda? The back of my house faces it, which is at the back end of the garden/ below the bund of sorts.
Thanks Anget and Dawn, it’s the lower end of the bund hill, which forms a rockery/sloped area across. The Rose is planted at the top of the rockery against a short fence, the bund hill planting is above the rose.

That looks like a lot of work! We had a steep slope in one of our front gardens - 5ft high that fronted a small stream. Sounds very pastoral but was an absolute nightmare to keep on top of (figuratively and literally). Took years to find plants that would grow happily on it. And hours of work. Yours looks very well kept.

Your bund hill looks lovely gives a illusion like a wilderness.

It is Anget, although, OH did go up there many years ago and dig out all the brambles by hand! It had several shrubs planted on it when it was initially landscaped, we added over the years. It’s pretty much on its own now, thriving! The only area I tend to maintain is the right side behind our little shed and the steps we put in leading up to the bird feeder.
The bund is as high as the house! It’s very vertical too. My neighbours on either side have something similar, but, unfortunately they allow the brambles to grow...they’ve both planted up there but didn’t water consistently..
Our friends/neighbours who live next door but one, they have put a greenhouse on the bund - they did dig out quite a bit on their right side of the hill - they have steps too, up to the greenhouse. Then they have lots of plants and trees on their left side. Even a couple of very large trees up nearer the top.

Thanks Dawn and Paul, it really feels quite private, thanks to the bund hill.
