Clematis 'Blue Angel'

It's in a shady corner so it is a very pale lilac.

Very delicate colour Ange and so many buds....

I've had it in the sun in another garden, Janey. It romped off up next-door's leylandii and was a bit more 'bluey' in the light.

Really lush and healthy! Looks a vigorous grower, lucky you! It’s a pretty lilac, like the others have said. Full of flowers and buds!

Kate, I hope that garage all will soon be covered in flowers. We have viticella clematis all the way across it and I love it when it's all in flower. There is Betty Corning, Venosa Violacea, Etoile Violette and Blue Angel: on light, one bitone, one dark, one light. Two of them are away across the garage roof now, just as I wanted.
