Thorneyside...I wonder if anyone can explain it. I love your photo. I bought three huge corms and thought I was certain to get flowers! Well, I have three big pots full of healthy foliage and one flower in one pot! I think I give up now. This is my third try with these and I’m so disappointed!

Thanks all. I think they must be able to take a bit of neglect Karen, because they are in a pot,which is on a stand, tucked in a corner of what was the porch when I first came in the 90's. The pot is under a climbing rose so has a bit of shelter but I have to admit they've never been fed or had new copmost, just a top up, in all the years they've been there. I say they but this started as one bulb. I'm disappointed with my big red bulb. I paid a lot of money for it but only got leaves again.

I did some reading up On them. I seem to be doing everything right, so hopefully I’ll get flowers next year. Its very disappointing.

They really do look outstanding in that situation.
