I love the Monarda its something that goes mouldy in our garden ..

thanks, everyone! I'm surprised that the monarda came on and bloomed so quickly... it was not very strong early on. I now have three clumps of it and the other two aren't as robust as previous years.. and yes, Amy, I have that problem too. It's crazy warm today..with the extreme humidity factored in it's 40 degrees C. and prime weather for rusts and mildew. I'm in love with these lilies too... they seem to manage to come along every year. I was able to divide the patch last season and the original clump benefited from it.

This is a love colourful combination, Lori. The pure white beside the fiery vivid red. The monarda is striking!
