Grape Magic Daylily

I had to remove mine after a second year with gall midge disaster. And annoyingly, I just planted some new ones. Will wait and see what they are like next year. So disappointing.

gall midge? That sounds horrible. I hope your new ones do better. Oppressively hot here in NY now. I'm drinking iced tea by the gallon.

some hemerocallis go over the top with frilly petals and all... but this.. it says it all with colour! Beautiful!

I couldn't agree more. I go more for color and texture.
