I’m thinking of getting Monarda for my garden next year.. Are they easy, low maintenance perennials?

Hi A, I haven't had it long so not sure how it will be, I had a purple one a few years ago which disappeared eventually but was never that prolific in my garden, am hoping this will be more so, I have seen a picture once where a variety was quite spreading :-))
