The main flower has been cut off to dry out for the seeds Sterra. This was just a random plant that grew from the birdseed.

Fab, Linda. You’re lucky, we have the husk free seed/ sunflower hearts...
We have just the one sunflower that survived from a packet of seeds and it’s been battered around a bit by the wind last Friday!

Thanks Paul, In the distance we can see the hills. A few minutes walk from here and we are in the fields again. I was bought up in London, and always craved to live in the countryside. I just love the wildlife around here. Next year I shall let some more sunflowers grow around in our small garden.
