Plumeria alba - Puerto Rican Plumeria

Plumeria alba - Puerto Rican Plumeria

This is a cutting-grown given to me by a friend who brought it back from Puerto Rico three years ago: It’s blooming for the first time and super fragrant flowers. Photo taken Aug 27, 2020

Thanks! It was doing well until the extreme heatwave. All my plumerias are burning, they typically like the hot weather (not this hot, though). Even my giant Plumeria tree in the ground is burning.

What a shame cant you create some shade for them Andy.

The plant is actually good and I think more flowers will be opening soon.

I did move the ones in pots into shade. Unfortunately, the big ones in the ground just have to bear it.

So pleased you managed to move the ones in pots such a shame for the ones in the ground. I shall look forward to seeing more flowers.

The ones in the ground are burned, but it’s not too noticeable.
