It was looking awesome until this horrible heatwave! 106 to 108 degree weather is stressing and burning my plants!

I had Angelwing doing fine Andy all last summer and into March...then the wife poured some soapy water for "conservation"..and overnight it drooped..then died.
I wonder what it would be like by now?
I do still have Petra..but its not thriving after 2 winter and now 3 summers.
I've read pretty common for them to hang on in California..but then go backwards. Like mine has.
Now,that one of your looks great.

That’s horrible what happened to your croton! I’ll have to remember that so I don’t do it to mine. I used reclaimed water on a lot of my plants, too.

This croton has grown very quickly over the last month, it’s Much bigger and much fuller with very large leaves. It’s amazing what transplanting and a little fertilizer can do!

I saw a house in Del Mar as I drove by, with hundreds of big crotons. I was shocked! I must go back and take some pics! They all looked very good from what I could see driving by.
