My garden under smoky skies.

It was noon when I took this photo. It got even darker later. Car headlights were on all day. I'm far from fires..no danger. But the air reached "worst in the world" for a day or two.

My goodness! That’s pretty horrific, Stan! We have been keeping updated via the news as Ange mentioned.
I’m relieved you’re not close by, although going by these pics it looked pretty close. Just shows how far the fire and smoke pollution can spread. Hope you’re keeping safe.

We are all fine here Ang,Kate. That smoke has almost reached Hawaii from the look of satellite photos. Russia not far either.
Every year here now is "Watch the clouds and hope for rains"..mostly to have drinking water and some extra for the yards these days. If we have a drought again..then I have to let some plants just go. Even now..if it takes much water for little in return- like Tropical Guavas and Banana plants, this might be the last year.
Mangoes and Avocados do much better on much less water here in California. Once Avocados get some age..they need no water from me...well,a bit.

It's shocking to watch on the TV. Glad you're ok.
