This tree still had some flowers. It probably had a lot a few months ago. Photo taken Sept. 15, 2020. Unfortunately, not the clearest pic due to the horrible smoke here.

Yes, not too bad here. There’s a few fires and a big fire burning 15 miles east of me. It’s almost all contained. Mexico to the south has a lot of fires, also.
California does have a lot of really large fires still burning, though. It’s very hot and dry here and conditions are not good at all. All the big national parks are closed in California right now.

Thank you very much. It’s getting slightly better today. It’s not as hot, also. Only 90 (32 C) degrees today.

Hope alls safe where you are.. I visited my son and family in Tasmania last year, and wild fires there too which is not the usual. We were lucky to take a visit to the national park and 2 days later it was closed. Really unpleasant smoke, heartbreaking for people and wildlife...
