Clematis Gravetyre Beauty (update) (Clematis texensis (Scarlet Clematis))

On 20 June i cut Gravetyre Beauty to the ground because it had Clematis Wilt, added more soil on top, watered well. Look at it today.

It's a pretty plant when it behaves. I had it years ago. Mine was always mildewed so I dug it out! Looks like the treatment has worked for you.

Thank you everyone for appreciating its regeneration, but I have fears Angets' word might be prophetic. I have read it's prone to mildew and die back.
