Really lovely, well cared for, love the creeper round the windows.

One of the creepers is a Wisteria. It has hundreds of blooms in May. We brought it with us when we came 26 years ago and put it at the bottom of the garden - where is sulked for many years. We then brought it us to the narrow border next to the house - but left it in a heap for many years. We finally got round to putting fixings for it on the wall and unravelled it. It was enormously long and went up and round the balcony and down the other side. It rewarded us with 300 blooms that year (5 years ago) and has multiplied each year since.

The other is a Virginia creeper which is a stunning colour at the beginning of October.

Sounds really fabulous, will you have the BBC round next May when it's in flower? I planted a young one last year, so I think I've a way to go before it blooms. Yes, virginia creeper is one I would like to plant on the large stone wall we have one side of the garden, it would be lovely in autumn then.

The filming started in May - they've been four times so far. Sometimes we have a day of filming where we're doing jobs and have to talk our way through pruning the acers or planting up the hanging baskets - we can get quite tongue- tied!

Ooh, I can imagine, I think I would get a fit of the giggles or my hands would shake and compost would be flying everywhere!
