I got rid of mine, it was so exuberant in growth, swamping everything.

I do like these but you do need to leave them plenty of room .

Siris, I agree that it's an exuberant climber but I really do like the silky seed heads as well as those bright yellow flowers.

Well, Shirley ..I got my shoe horn out for this Clematis and its now planted against the arch and Libet who used to be on here suggested I twirl it round the arch as it grows so long! I had nowhere ese it could go! So watch this space! Hahaa!

Well done Rose, and to Libet (who I do remember as she sent me some Heucheras many years ago) for the great suggestion for twirling it round your new arch The one in this photo has now turned completely to the seedheads and looks quite effective. I leave it until the Spring for cutting back as the birds use the fluffy seedheads for nesting ... :o)

Thanks again Shirley! Libet and I keep in touch every day by texting and regular chats on the phone. The Tanjutica I planted the other week has already started growing! Really looking forward to the Spring!
