Nerine & hoverfly

Appart from being a lovely photo, its great seeing a detail that was missed looking at the plant in the garden.

I missed it too! I can see it now, Wylie. Weve had a lot of hoverflies recently.

I found out from Exbury that the Nerine is an accidental hybrid, so it is unique.

Lovely flower, Wylie! Finding something you didn't expect to find in a photo has happened to me several times, in fact it wouldn't be the first time that I've got up from the computer to go outside & check with my own eyes!

Aphids can sometimes go undetected on plants, (good for them but not so much for us!), especially when your eyesight is no longer what it used to be! But they can't escape the camera's eye! They only become visible when they are magnified 100 fold on the computer screen!
