Is it a pineapple ?

Got it in one, HYWEL. I grew it from a shop bought pineapple. Started the top leaves cutting last winter. Apparently they take about 3 years to produce a fruit. I wonder how many I could fit into the conservatory to grow a plantation!! ? I love Pineapples, actually I love all fruits.

It must be a fascinating thing to do, I hope you'll be picking your own pineapples in a few years :)

You only get one pineapple to a plant.
Now the answer has been revealed I'll insert it into the details. Thanks Hywel.

I don't know but I'm guessing, and don't think I should say in case I spoil it for someone else :)
