I wish I could take a pic when there is a dragonfly in my garden! I never seem to be quick of the mark!!!!

Thanks Kate. This was the 'lucky shot' after about 25 throw aways. They have excellent vision and most likely see you long before you see them. I find that if I approach them very slowly & quietly, with no quick & sudden movements, I can get fairly close up. Be careful with the zoom feature on your camera. It doesn't always give the desired results. PhotoShop is very helpful.

Lovely to see the Dragonflies Paul. It just shows you what tremendous eyesight they have. It never ceases to amaze me how they can live under the water and then emerge into the air, catch their prey and fly.
