Yes with homemade chicken soup.

Yummy I love home made soup 😀

Looks like you're going to have a White Christmas.

21 Dec, 2020

Me too Amy and it 's so much better on days like this - more snow coming? more soup please!

Sure looks like it Siris. We didn't get any snow last year so I'm excited to see it again. I won't be building a snowman though.

Wow! That’s a lot of snow. Has it melted?

27 Dec, 2020

Yes. It all melted in a couple days and plenty of rain. I"m glad my house is on top of a hill. We rarely get a deep freeze before January due to the maritime effect - not like they get in Minnesota. What is the average temperature in San Diego in winter? Do you have a winter at all. I actually enjoyed the snowstorm. We had no snow at all last year.

It looks so perfect and quiet. A magical white blanket. Lovely to look at from the inside out, with a bowl of warm homemade soup, hot buttered bread and a small glass of red wine to warm your cockles!

28 Dec, 2020

The average high in January is between 66 - 72 (it could get much higher, though) morning lows between 45 - 55 degrees. It’s not very unusual to get up to 88 - 90 degrees in January, though.

Sounds ideal, not too hot or too cold.

Kate: I love going out right after the storm esp when the sun is out. The red wine is a nice touch.

January three years ago we had day-after-day in the 80’s and even some low 90’s. It actually felt like summer.

30 Dec, 2020

The weather here is very erratic influenced by the Atlantic, the Arctic. The Gulf and whatever comes in from the West. It's feeling like Spring now.

30 Dec, 2020

It definitely sounds erratic. Wow!

We’re experiencing extremely dry weather this season. It’s a classic La Niña pattern. I hope we receive more rain soon! San Diego has had less than an inch of rain since October 1st.

The forecast for the coming week is dry and mostly low to mid 70’s.

5 Jan, 2021

I hope you do.

5 Jan, 2021

No rain in the foreseeable future and temps are forecasted to now be in the upper 70’s and low 80’s.
