Cactus from Kirsty 30th December 2020 002

I've since removed the silly Santa hat from this poor Cactus! It had been secured by a thin stick that had been driven into the poor Cactus! As I couldn't pull it out I had to resort to cutting it off as close to the plant as possible.

I wonder why they feel they have to dress plants up ? I would have taken it off as well David

This is the 2nd time my granddaughter has given me her Cacti! Back in June I think it was she gave me three others. I now have 6 different plants but I have no idea of what they are called.

I can't understand why the horticultural trade has to do this sort of gimmick to sell plants. Most just end up in the rubbish when the novelty wears off after a few days. :(
