The pictures are pretty, but let's hope spring isn't too far away.

Spring can't be far off Julia. I can feel the sun slowly getting stronger. How are you doing by the way in the midst of all this?

We're both good thank you. Richard has had his first jab and I can't wait for mine...even though I usually hate needles. How are you doing? Read any good books lately?

I'm doing good. I'm still strong and healthy and learning how to stay that way with healthy living. I'm glad you are doing well. I haven't read a good book in a while, but I think I'm going to visit the bookstore this week. How about you? Any good books? What kind of books do you like?

and who are your favorite authors?

I had my first Covid jab yesterday and I'm feeling fine. No sore arm or any other after effects. I can't wait to get my second one and for us to return to something resembling normality. Most of all, I can't wait to cuddle my granddaughters.

Sadly no book stores open here at the moment. I've read all the books I had on my bookshelves, not all ready packed for the house move. I'm now back to using my Kindle which is fine, but I do prefer a 'proper' book.
I like all kinds of books from non-fiction, I've just read all about Joshuia Wedgewood the potter, very interesting. But I also like a good detective novel or an historical novel, based of some factual points. I don't really have a favourite author, although there are one or two who I know I will enjoy reading.

Ok that's good Julia. I don't have a kindle and like you, I prefer holding and actual book in my hands and having it on my bookshelf. Sometimes I just want to unplug, sit in my chair with a cup of tea and get lost in a good story. I may have asked you this in another post so just don't bother with the other post.I love a good detective book or 'who done it?" but it takes a very skilled writer to hold my interest and keep me guessing. Some of my favorite authors are Scott Turrow, John Grisham, Margaret Atwood, Anne Tyler & Anne Rice. These gifted writers have mastered the art of story telling and will not disappoint you.
