Camellia Flirtation

Camellia Flirtation

There is not much information on it.
Almost looks like as it was not commercially successful
---------------------------------------------------
So far I know that it originated in:
Ontario, California, USA in 1961

Pollen Parent C. saluenensis
Seed Parent C. japonica 'Lady Vansittart'
Its upright and slow growing.
---------------------------------------------
It has small leaf so probably good for patio growing in a container. That is where it will live here. The flower is single and lovely ...it reminds me of a magnolia flower.
As my picture shows it brightens up a dull day and I have it positioned that we can see it from dinning room.
I just hope it will bloom every year.

That's a sweet, delicate flower. I would covet it, if I was closer!

Ange is right, it’s a delicate pretty camellia. Lovely pink hue.
