These are very easy plants to grow. I have several outside in my garden.
I use these plants as fillers in my garden. The Crassula ovata ‘Gollum’ eventually grows to 4 or 5 tall here, though.

Thanks Dawn. The white stones add a nice touch. I'm glad you think so too.
Thanks. Andy - I"m not sure where I'd put a plant that size but I've seen Stan's photo. They are quite stunning with the white flowers. It was the tubular leaves that caught my attention - had to have it! lol.
I'm glad you like it Paul. It turned out better than I expected.

Bathgate:
I doubt it’ll get that size in a small pot. My largest one in the front yard is about 1 1/2 ft in a pot. It’s only about two years old. If it had been in the ground in would be a little bigger.
I just remembered my across the street neighbor has one which is probably taller and bigger than Stan’s Crassula ‘Gollum’.

I"ve seen one on exhibit at the NY Botanical Garden. It was at least 4 feet. I"d be happy with only 2 feet or so but would love to see those white flowers.

Unfortunately, Crassula ovata doesn’t flower indoors. It needs full sun and temps in the 45 to 55 degrees range at night to initiate buds. It typically develops buds in mid-to-late November.
It can bloom very young (even the size of your plant) if given the right conditions.

I have it near a south facing window. It gets at least 5 hours of sun per day. It could be quite intense in the Summer.

This plant tolerates very hot conditions here in the ground. I would guess it would tolerate a very bright, hot window.
