Some of the larger plastic trays make good containers for planting seeds as long as you make sure there are some holes in the bottom for drainage and I re-use any plant pots, just a wash and dry then store for the next time. There is too much plastic. A long time ago they sold fruit in cardboard type containers, now it's all plastic. Same with plastic bags, in days gone by it was paper.
