Towards the front, variegated perennial Wallflower, a Heuchera with purple leaves and a grass with blue/green twisted leaves.. I don't know it's name just call it whirly, whirly, grass. Ideally small, it gets a clip under its 'skirts' where it browns off during the winter.

Yes they do, I get a couple of years from a plant before it gets so woody I discard it and replace with a new cutting.

Lovely mix, Sue!! The wallflower is a really pretty colour, quite a luminescent mauve...it’s all very complimentary planting.
