Old fashion peonies

These were probably planted right after the house was build. Your grandma's peonies. Once I knew the name but age is interfering with my memory.They are shorter kind and generally do not need staking.......until big rain comes and they all be flat on the ground.

Gorgeous flowers, and in abundance too. I love the big pink cup shaped flower with the dark yellow centres.
