Butterfly Weed

I tried growing this from a cutting the other year, Paul..to no avail. I love the hot orange colour.

This is a tricky one to grow Kate and I don't have any solutions. I got only two plants from a whole packet of seeds and they don't transplant well either. It's only the odd one growing here and there from last year's seeds that do well, if I don't touch it. Why is it called a weed?
