Allamanda ‘cherries Jubilee’

These are the first flowers on the Allamanda since January. Every tip has several flower buds. Photo taken June 21, 2021.

Allamanda tends to looks a little ratty by winter’s end. I generally prune it back before spring. I pruned it way back this year. It grows too fast.

Allamandra are very touchy here. Mandevilla that resemble them are great plants. Allamandra don't need high summer heat..but they really hate winter nights in the mid 40's and lower kills them eventually.
