Mislabelled poppy.

Could it be Pattie's Plum?

what were you expecting it to be. I'm not certain about ID as there are several now from Patty's Plum.

Well, I know it shouldn't be 'Patty' because I've had it before (not in this garden) and definitely didn't want it again. So, a mystery.

It’s a lovely mystery poppy..like the colour. You’ve posted a few flowers with the darker plummy, claret colouring. Sorry that was a mouthful!

It's gone now, anyway! We dug up all the floppy poppies at the weekend. We've left the spaces clear in case they try to regrow (which they will, Kate.) I disliked them all... - no pleasing some people, I know!

Well, it gives me a workout! 2 of the 3 were mislabelled, Kate, and I've no idea where the 3rd. one came from. I'm hardening my heart: miscanthus went, euphorbia, lamium...... I'm on a roll!
