Rose ‘Royal Parfuma’. Hybrid Tea.

Finally!!! My first flower on this lovely, fragrant rose.
It’s my one and only rose which is actually planted in the garden. (My one other is on the bund hill fence)

Ooo, careful. Could be the beginning of garden takeover!!
How lovely to see a multi-petalled that isn't a DA rose for once. I see the potted ones are now £27 each...

Thanks Ange!!! I do think it might just happen! I was well chuffed when we arrived home this afternoon and one of the buds had opened up!
I bought it from a reputable GC a little while ago. This GC has an abundance of rose varieties..a very long aisle outdoors with both sides full of roses.
Something bout the colour of this one on the label caught my eye. I have to agree, some roses, especially the David Austin ones re very expensive.

Really lovely rose Kate. We planted a red rose in the strip of garden that runs along our drive. It's our neighbours garden really but they don't mind us planting in their flowerbed. It's just had it's first flower and every time I go past I have a sniff of the perfume.....

Thank you, Linda. I’m really pleased with it! I’ll bet even your neighbours are happy with the rose you planted!
