Bunting in Apple tree

Did you decide what to do with the surround of the tree?

Yes, am going to put a perimeter of cobbles around the tree and fill in with bark I think. I’d prefer gravel but worry the stones would end up in grass and potentially damage my mower!

No it’s made from hessian so very light. Not sure how long it will last but will be taking it down in Sept/Oct and hopefully will be in good enough state to store away for the following year.
