Fuchsia cutting.

Fuchsia cutting.

Either 'Rufus' or 'Chilli Red', (correct name lost in the mists of time). It's much redder than it looks on here, about 2-3ft. tall.

So delicate . . .

I prefer the 'thinner' types, Shirley. We have a very blowsy ballerina type in one of the wall baskets and I've surprised myself by loving that one now it's come out (OH's choice).

Some years ago I had a small collection of Fuchsias, all in pots on the patio, then one by one they all developed Fuchsia Gall Mite and had to be disposed of.

I now only have F. 'Lady Boothby' in a border . . . such a shame about the others . . . :o(

It’s thriving from a cutting, Ange! Very healthy too.

Oh, that's annoying, Shirley.

Yes, Kate, I don't often have much success with cuttings.

It is a definite red, Paul. My favourite.
