Loved by the bees. A statuesque plant obtained from an Open Garden, so no name. I had never seen this before and have loved it ever since. Its best quality is that it doesn't fall over!

I also found a pink veronica. It's been in bloom for over a month. You can divide it in the fall. You won't notice a difference next spring yet you'll have 2 plants.

I like all the 'spires' at this time of year, Paul. Sadly this one doesn't expand very quickly but I shall split it soon. I have tried to grow some mauve veronicastrums from seed and they germinated easily. Plus some white veronicas, but the slugs have had all but 2 of those. I'm guarding them carefully!!
They have good structure, D'lily. And not too thuggish in my experience.

Sadly I lost mine, Ange. Don’t think it liked it’s position, I have very few options when it comes to my garden..
I love the tall spires and subtle colour.

You can grow new plants from cuttings very easily. I threw the cuttings in the compost pile and they rooted there.

It's great Anget! I have the white one but was quite late flowering.
