Thank you both. The tree Is Albizia julibrissin, Meadowland.
It should start blooming any time now.

Beautiful trees, Klahanie. I have got Albizia seeds to germinate before now, but never got much past that! They are filigree-leaved, which I love. I shall enjoy yours!

I have a love-hate relation with this tree Anget. It has a rapid growth and I chopped it down hard last fall as it shades half of the bed and it is messy. My OH said at that time that I killed it. Not a chance: look at it now. Looks very much alive and happy.
I do like its leaves, its form and specifically its flowers. When it flowers I forgive all the negatives. It leafs out really late here (late May) so peonies , roses and other early bloomers have chance to survive.
Its leaves have a unique feature.... during the night (or when it rains) the leaves close (shut)
