Now doing well - once I’d carried out the ‘hard prune’ earlier in the summer. I decided to go for it as it was only displaying leaves and growth on the ends of the branches, it had been looking quite sparse.

Yes, I have to agree - secateurs and hedge trimmers!!!! We’ve been decidedly on a mission with pruning!
I thought I’d lost the Salix, but, it’s revived itself over recent weeks! Plus I moved it to under the solanum.
