Ornamental grass newly planted up.

Ornamental grass newly planted up.

I’d removed a waning and struggling variegated euonymus from this big rustic pot yesterday. I decided to plant it up with a nice, tall ornamental grass and have a lime green lysimachia for contrast. Topped off with potting grit and cobbles.

Good one … like the shadow effect too 🙂.

Thank you, Sheila! It’s my car that’s casting the shadow from that angle! 😊

I meant the shadow cast by the lovely grass!

Thanks Paul! That’s kind. OH not keen on ornamental grasses- says this one looks dead…☹️

No worries Kate … OHs are good at comments like that!

I love grasses and will be meeting two gardening friends at a big GC this week … ornamental grasses are top of my list. Hoping for a Miscanthus morning light and Festuca glauca sunrise (but will probably buy something completely different!)

You’re right, Sheila!!! They are quick to comment at times - think they know best! 😆
Hopefully you’ll pick up some gorgeous grasses this week!
