Sculpture on end of a house

Spotted on the end of a house while having a few days away near Stamford before having the other Cataract removed in my right eye next Monday .
I think it's brilliant, I loved it , It looks like metal of some kind ..

Interesting metal work but what is he doing? I thought a camera man at first but then... maybe not. I'm glad your surgery is going well Amy. You are in my prayers.

I thought he looked to be mountaineering Meadowland .it's large almost full human size , I thought it was someone working up there on first sight ..

Thanks Paul, I'm due another Covid test Friday and then have to isolate until I have my other eye done on Monday ,I can't believe the difference it's amazing , I keep putting my specs on forgetting I don't need them :o)

Hi Amy, pleased to hear the surgery has gone well and your having the other eye done soon, it’ll be so with it!
Unusual sculpture, looks like a man climbing up a chain, which is attached to a belt? Must mean something to the homeowner I guess.

Thanks Kate I'm really pleased with my cataract op I keep forgetting I don't need my specs except for reading and thats after only having one eye done ..my sight will be even better after the second op next Monday ...
Meadowland don't remind me about the dust I had an excuse before I :o(

I'm excited for you to have your vision back to almost 100%. It was such a revelation for me.. and the thing I noticed first was all the blue colours around me... the cataracts had made everything look dull and yellowish. It's so nice to see the details again! I've thought about sculpting a fellow to peek around the trunk of the big fir tree near the road. Neighbours who put up deer statues had them shot up in hunting season! I like the idea of it being on the house... what do you think of a hatted figure with field glasses peeking from the peak of a dormer? lol..

I almost did a double take when I saw this Amy. It looks so animated.
So glad the cataract op has gone well so far. Here's to the next and final one.

I like that idea Lori , you could include a shotgun to warn off the pesky hunters Haha ..
Thanks Julia , I'm thrilled it's especially nice not to wear specs when its raining :o)

Glad your first cataract surgery was a success. Good luck with the other eye. Not sure about the sculpture , I think I'd need to see it to really know.

So pleased you are getting your second cataract done, thats why I clicked on like, although I'm not keen on the bare bottom climbing the wall, but thanks for taking the time to picture. My best wishes for your forthcoming op.
Lol sue.
