What an exotic looking pond plant! Love the dark flower.

Looks like you have a flower spike coming. Is it outside still? Weve had a couple of ground frosts already.

It’s on the side of the pond not in it Kate.

Klahanie, I’ve had this for several years too and it’s the first time it’s flowered for me. I can’t wait to see what the flower looks like when the tight buds open.

Siris, it’s the plant you gave to me several years ago (Thankyou again) and, as I said to Klahanie, it’s the first time it’s flowered. I was so pleased to see the stem appear. I brought it in to the conservatory the day before our first frost was forecast.

Homebird, If i gave it to you a while ago, it is probably pale pink or creamy white, although my yellow ones are the first to flower, usually in late November.
Cybidiums do not like to be tooo hot.
