Pachypodium lamerei - Madagascar Palms

Madagascar palms (not a true palm) grow everywhere in Palm Springs and throughout the Coachella Valley and get very tall. Most were still in bloom with the very hot weather even in November. Photo taken Nov. 3, 2021.

Well, they are literally everywhere this size or taller throughout the Coachella Valley. In San Diego you see them this big, but not in the thousands like in the Coachella Valley.

Not much chance of root rot! Those are very tall by Cali standards.
Mine is still in bloom Nov.11. I think they have the whitest white flower I've ever seen. When shade rolls around behind them its a strong almost glowing contrast.
