Never got around to putting in my file, although, I've grown for years. A short lived Geranium with ferny foliage, covered in purply flowers in spring/summer. Luckily it seeds easily.

Thank you Janey, It's foliage is different from the usual Geraniums, makes quite a good low greing plant, covered in blooms.
