Scarlet Rocket Aloe.

Due to the 4 O'clocks,the icy blue foliage of the Aloe is not easy to see. I have had it since 2017 and this is the first bloom. Slow growing to start,it grew much faster from the day I put a commercial mulch under it 2 years ago.

Really unusual flower spike Stan, very nice!
I used to grow the 4o'clock plants too, very nice range of colours..

I had a couple of aloe plants years back, Stan. They did well through winter until we had solid snow for a few months and they sadly died.
This is a beautiful ‘flower’ spike.
