One of those winter mornings when you are reminded of those Spring days ahead of us.January seems to have been such a long month.

Well, the light is lasting longer so that's all good. We got out today in the sunshine, cutting back birch branches and clearing some crud in the borders, so being closer to the earth has highlighted how the green is reappearing and boosted the spirits. Nature is such a restorative.., Meadow.

I agree with you that January seems to be protracted this year. It's made me feel really glum. This winter has been harder to cope with than the last one for me. I shall be glad to see the back of it. My pittosporum is a beauty at the moment too - the first time I have grown it - I wouldn't be without one now. Your winter garden is a beauty.
