My garlic vine thinks it’s summer. The temps last week were very hot (88 to 93 degrees) even for San Diego, CA. Photo taken February 20, 2022.

Out of the blue Andy,we are having three nights in the mid 30's in Hayward...30f for San Jose, and 28 for Modesto. Lower in Napa.
At least it's windy..that helps keep the bay area from frost..
Otherwise all the sun and 60-70's have my Howea and King palm flushing nice green fronds well before the usual. I saw that and threw fertilizer under the King palms.
I don't think I believe that San Jose forecast.
Great looking bloom. Longer days, plants in warm areas are getting going.

The UK had an incredible storm system. By coincidence we are having strong winds?

There’s a big storm heading to San Diego today. It’s going to bring very rare cold weather here for two nights. The snow level is going down to 2,500 ft. in the mountains. We’re getting the strong winds now.

Crikey, the weather is bizarre. On another note, loving your ‘confused’ garlic vine.

Yes, crazy weather! It’ll be warm and in the 70’s by this weekend.
The garlic vine can bloom all year here, but generally in a pot it doesn’t.

That cold? Set records all over the state and in 24 hours will set more. Sacramento dropped to 28f a record for the date, Wine country Napa was a hard freeze 26f and Long Beach dipped to a record 37f. I looked and at least in four days Long Beach will be having 77f degree weather.
My plants are wondering what's going on? windy,warm,cold..all in a week or so.

The snow level went down to 3,000 ft (in the mountains) last night. The storm is gone, but the cold weather is here. It’s only going to be 56 degrees here today. Brrr!

Klahanie,
I think in Northern California it’s going to be a quick cold spell, it shouldn’t affect the plants much.

We had some VERY lively weather here in the UK last week! 3 named storms in a week - unprecedented! We were in an amber warning zone for very strong winds last Friday (18th Feb) & quite near to the northern limit of an extremely rare red warning zone for wind as wells!

Balcony:
Wow! That sounds very wild! Hopefully not too much damage with big storms there! Maybe in the near future your wild weather will mellow. Stay safe.

You hit the nail on the head, Andy! For the next week we are forecast high pressure which will certainly "mellow the wild weather"! 👍

That’s very good news.
We’re having very hot weather again here. It was between: 83 and 88 f (28 - 32 c) degrees here around San Diego County today.

I'd heard of this plant but I'd never seen one till I saw your picture! It looks lovely!
Here it's not cold today (11C) but it continues to be rather windy. In the last week or so the UK has had 3 named storms all with amber or even red weather warnings issued by the Met Office. We were in an amber zone on Friday & were even close to the northern most limit of a VERY RARE red warning zone. 😱
