I think we who had gardens to escape into were the lucky ones throughout the covid outbreaks. Looks very much like they'll be a mental restorative this season, too,

Anget- I certainly wouldn’t have come through the pandemic the way I did without my garden. Spent 4 hours today, cutting grass & edges and have had a gentle tidy up. Feel so much better for it.

Me, too. We've been cutting back herbaceous stalks, feeding potted shrubs, potting up new roses etc and enjoying bees in the crocuses and even a couple of butterflies today. Even had a positive from the stormy weather : talked to our neighbours at the bottom of the garden where the wind has demolished the 6ft fence between us!! Don't see them very often!
