Nooooo! If there's one Spring bulb I don't like, these are it - no reason for my dislike of them - apart from their thuggish spreading habit. Many years ago, a GoY member named David, lives up in Fife, wanted some for a garden he was maintaining. I sent him a shoe box full of them from my garden . . .

I’ve a ‘clump’ on the rockery. I do like the pretty flowers..I shall keep an eye on its spreading habit.
My neighbour has some too - I’m not so keen on the way her ‘leaves’ hung over the sleepers. Quite untidy- but then, they aren’t gardeners and really don’t do anything outside.

I’m loving hoick too ☺️ Must try and use it tomorrow whilst gardening!
