Crikey, thought I had a few acers til I have looked at and admired your collection!

Well, the patio looks less empty now. We've been potting the new ones up this morning.

Are you starting a refuge for Acers. Lovely collection.

I love them too but they would need to go and stay in pots.

They do alright in pots. One of mine has been in a pot for ten years. I prune it in the late Autumn and take off any dead wood, but I do feed it now and again in the summer.

I've had 2 dissectums in pots for a few years, but one of those turned up its toes last winter. Shame, it was lovely.

I've had them in pots before but there are a limit to the number I can have. Currently I have agapanthus in my bigger pots.
